At Viburn Shop, we believe that beautiful furniture should never come at the expense of our planet. We are committed to sustainable practices throughout our entire production chain—from forest to furniture.

Sustainable Materials

  • Wood Sourcing: All timber comes from FSC-certified forests in the Baltic region

  • Natural Textiles: We use organic linen, wool, and GOTS-certified cotton

  • Eco-Friendly Finishes: Water-based stains and natural oil treatments

  • Recycled Components: 85% of metal hardware comes from recycled sources

Responsible Manufacturing

  • Local Production: All chairs are crafted within 50km of our Narva workshop

  • Zero-Waste Goal: 95% of wood scraps are repurposed or recycled

  • Energy Efficiency: Solar-powered workshop and energy-efficient machinery

  • Non-Toxic Environment: Safe working conditions and natural material handling

Carbon-Neutral Operations

  • Shipping Emissions: All deliveries are carbon-offset through verified programs

  • Renewable Energy: 100% of our operational energy comes from renewable sources

  • Reforestation: We plant three trees for every chair sold

Circular Economy Initiatives

  • Repair Program: Free minor repairs for any chair within the first 3 years

  • Take-Back Policy: Return any Viburn chair after 5+ years for 30% credit toward new purchase

  • Recycling Partnership: Full recycling program for end-of-life products

Sustainable Packaging

  • 100% Plastic-Free: Recycled cardboard and paper materials only

  • Minimal Packaging: Designed to reduce waste while ensuring protection

  • Plant-Based Inks: All printing uses vegetable-based inks
